Systems we build and service
Which one your property gets is decided by the soil and the permit. Larry’s installs, pumps and repairs all four.
A septic tank and gravity drain field. The soil does the final treatment.
A pump doses effluent through small pressurized lines, for soils or slopes where gravity won’t do.
Air-treated, chlorinated effluent sprayed on a lawn area. The common choice on Central Texas clay.
Treated effluent pushed through buried drip tubing a few inches down. No spray heads, no mist.

Pumping takes out the sludge and scum that settle in the tank before they can reach the field. Larry’s pumps conventional, aerobic and low-pressure dose systems for homes, multi-unit properties and commercial sites, and is on call for urgent pump-outs as well as routine ones. For a typical conventional system the recommendation is every three to five years; aerobic units go by sludge depth and the manufacturer’s guidance.

Aerobic systems need a maintenance contract, and the report has to reach the permitting authority on schedule. Larry’s holds a TCEQ Maintenance Provider license and offers contracts in the City of Austin, Travis County, the City of Bastrop, Bastrop County, Caldwell County and Fayette County. Each visit checks, troubleshoots and tests the system, inspects every component, and leaves detailed notes on any repairs needed.

03 / 06
When something fails, the trouble is usually one part of the chain: a line, a tank, a pump, the aerobic compressor, the control panel or the field itself. Larry’s finds the failing piece and fixes it on aerobic, conventional and low-pressure dose systems.

04 / 06
Every installation starts with a site evaluation. The design goes to the homeowner, the permit application goes to the county or city, and once the tank is set and the system is built, the permitting authority inspects it before it’s approved for use. Larry’s carries a TCEQ Installer II license, which covers every type of on-site system.

05 / 06
A septic inspection looks at what a home inspection can’t. Larry’s inspectors are NAWT-certified. They check the tank for cracks and roots, confirm the drain field is taking water and working properly, and on aerobic systems test the mechanical parts and sprinklers. You get a detailed report with recommendations, which is the right thing to have in hand before closing on a house.

Before a new system can be permitted, a licensed site evaluator has to look at the ground: the soil class, how deep the usable soil goes, restrictive layers and the best place for the system. Those findings go into the permit application and decide what kind of system you can build. Larry’s holds a TCEQ Site Evaluator license.

Sewage backing up?
Stop using water, keep people and pets out of the area, and call (512) 212-9821. Sewage is a health hazard. Never open a tank or lean into one: septic gases can kill in moments.
