In their own words

“We are a Christian-based business that values integrity, quality, and honesty.”

Godly principles

Larry started the business “on Godly principles with honesty and integrity at its core.” The family company still describes itself the same way.

No hidden fees

Competitively priced work with the price up front. That’s been the promise on every page they’ve published.

Licensed for the whole job

Site evaluator, Installer II and maintenance provider licenses under one roof, so the same company can evaluate, build and maintain a system.

A family name since 1993

Larry Goodwill put his name on the business in 1993. The family company still carries it, and answers to it.

Reviews

What customers wrote.

Word for word, from Google reviews shown on Larry’s own website.

First time using a septic service. Cody was amazing and knocked our aerobic system out in 1 day. Communication was great and guided us in the right direction with an engineer and the permits. I won't be calling anyone else.

Local knowledge

Three kinds of ground, six counties.

The septic system you can build depends on what’s under your feet. Around Bastrop that changes within a few miles.

SandLost Pines

Deep sandy ground under the loblollies around Bastrop and Smithville drains fast. Sometimes too fast, and sometimes onto a clay layer below.

ClayBlackland Prairie

North and west toward Elgin, Manor and Lockhart the soil turns to black clay that swells, cracks and drains slowly. Aerobic spray country.

Getting started

Four steps, no hidden fees.

  1. Call or text

Call (512) 212-9821 or text (512) 985-6570. Tell us the system type if you know it, whether the lid is exposed and whether a truck can reach it.

  2. We look at it

A licensed tech checks the tank, the field and, on aerobic systems, the compressor, pump, chlorinator and sprinklers.

  3. Straight answer

You hear what we found and what it costs before we start. No hidden fees.

  4. The work, done right

Pumped, repaired or built to Texas OSSF rules, with the paperwork your county or city needs.

Straight answers

Septic questions, answered.

How often should a septic tank be pumped in Central Texas?

For a typical conventional system, every three to five years. That’s the TCEQ guideline and the interval Larry’s has recommended for decades.

What are the signs a septic system is failing?

Slow drains, gurgling pipes, sewage odors inside or outside, soggy ground or standing water over the field, unusually green grass over the field, sewage backing up, or an alarm going off.

How does an aerobic septic system work?

An aerobic system pumps air into the wastewater so oxygen-loving bacteria break it down far more than a plain septic tank. The treated water is disinfected with chlorine and then sprayed or dripped over a lawn area.

Why does soil type matter so much for a septic system?

The soil finishes the treatment. It has to accept water at a steady rate and filter it before it reaches groundwater.

Do I need a septic inspection when buying a house in Texas?

Texas doesn’t have a statewide rule requiring one at every sale, but you should get one. Lenders and buyers often ask for it, and a standard home inspection doesn’t open the tank or test the field.

Who regulates septic systems in Texas?

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) sets the rules for on-site sewage facilities (OSSFs) in 30 TAC Chapter 285 and licenses the people who work on them. Local authorized agents, usually the county or a city, issue permits and inspect.
